Great time was had by all. The weather was fantastic and the fishing was pretty good with most of the crew hooking into some big triploid fish!
First Place with a 4.2 lb Denny Reel
Second Place with a 3.11 lb Denny Net
Third Place with a 3.1 lb Jason Reel
Other large fish were caught by Iceman, Sean, Mitch, Brad. These fish were over 2 lbs.
This year, the chironomid fishing was not very good due to the high water. All top 7 fish were caught trolling flies through the shallows on damsel, leech, scud patterns.

Had the Thompson on my mind today so thought I would post a pic of a large trout caught on this system the last time it was open.

One of the sunniest days we have had on the fishing trip weekend. This pic was taken at Fawn Lake. Can’t remember the date off the top of my head but it was sometime between Tunkwa and Watch Lake.
