Hit the Thompson again with Uncle Gerry. Day one hooked and lost a big trout or steelhead at Shaw Springs. ended the day at Gravel pit and both Gerry and I landed one each. Mine being about 18lbs. Day two was much more successful. Gerry and I both lost one up river. Went to gravel pit and landed a nice doe followed by another one at BigHorn. Pictures will be posted later.
Hit the thompson for my second trip this winter with Scooter, Elcombe and Harrington.
Aside from the fantastic weather and good accomodations the fishing was great.
Day one harrington landed two followed by myself landing the biggest steelhead landed in 19 years of fishing this system. Although we didnt get a clear picture this fish weighed in at over twenty. After two days harrington hooked three and landed two and higo landed two. Check out some of the pics.
